<description>&#60;p&#62;Is contactless payment reducing the amount of cash your comnpany deposits? The Smart Card Alliance says the industry will have 80 millon cards issued by the end of 2009 &#38;#38; up to 120,000 merchant locations. My perspective has to do with transaction expense by method of payment. It would seem that if cash volumes are in fact decreasing, then taking steps to lower the cost of having cash in the business would offset electronic payment transaction fees.
