Inventory turns

    I'm looking for the avarge number of inventory turns per industry, I'm mainly intrested in the system market.
    In addition I would like to know the calculation method which was used.

    The way to calculate turns is as follows sale times 12 devided by ending inventory. You can use this for count or dollars it will come out the same. You should be looking for about 40 turns per year. This will not gaurentee profit, but is an important part to insuring a return on your investment.
